Winter Break Roundup: 2020

It was the 13 days of winter break that actually felt… a lot longer.

Maybe that’s because it’s been 282 days since our routine looked like anything but a really long break. Maybe.

So, the challenge wasn’t so much what to do but what to do that felt different while still staying inside our box.

Though screens were still the default anytime we stopped moving for 5 minutes, we did pretty okay. We cooked, baked, shopped, wrapped, played, colored and painted, rode horses, and decorated a ton. We even all went to a super fancy restaurant curtesy of Aunt Molly and Uncle Mike.

I felt ready for Christmas and now ready to get back to work in a way I don’t typically.

Here are some highlights in pictures.
